In all the years that the Congress has been running, it has never been held outside of England or Scotland and partly due to the increased interest in Homeopathy here in NI, it is coming to Belfast this November. I have attached a Brochure for the event and as you can see, the venue will be the Europa Hotel in the centre of Belfast. A full detailed programme will be available soon.
We are excited that the Congress will include the first UK presentation by Swiss Paediatrician, Heiner Frei who will be introducing his very successful approach to the treatment of children with ADHD. Jonathan Hardy will be speaking on the use of Homeopathy in addictions, Julie Geraghty will be introducing the Gemstone remedies and Elizabeth Thompson will be speaking on the Hydrocarbon remedies, particularly in cancer treatment. We are also expecting to have David Lilley, Bob Leckridge, Peter Gregory, David Owen, Peter Fisher, Francis Treuherz, Rachel Roberts, Alex Tournier and many others. It promises to be a fascinating week-end of Homeopathy and with plenty of warm, Irish hospitality as well
The Conference is open to all Homeopaths, regardless of which organisation they are registered with – or indeed, none ! Student homeopaths are welcome, as are more experienced practitioners, whether they be “animal” or “human” homeopaths ! We really do hope that the event will appeal to the entire spectrum of the homeopathic community in the UK, Ireland and beyond. We anticipate attendees from across Ireland, North & South and also from the UK and beyond. We have already had registrations from Japan, France & Germany, so we’re hopeful that we will have a really interesting & diverse conference and we’re aiming to have around 150 delegates.
Outside the academic sessions, there are some really great social activities planned as well – including a CAM reception on Thursday evening, a traditional Irish evening in the “Dark Horse” on Friday night and a Gala Dinner in the Europa Hotel on Saturday night.
We also have a Facebook event page, it would be great if you could share that as well.
